At Lily Lolo, we do not print expiry dates on our products. Instead, we use a Period After Opening (PAO) symbol, which indicates how long a product remains safe and effective after it has been opened.
What is the PAO Symbol?
The PAO symbol looks like a small open jar with a number followed by an “M” (e.g., 12M). This represents the number of months the product is recommended for use after opening.
For example:
🫙 12M = Use within 12 months of opening
Why Don’t Your Products Have an Expiry Date?
Our products, particularly our mineral makeup, have a long shelf life when stored correctly. Unlike liquid or cream-based cosmetics, pure mineral powders do not contain water, which means they are less prone to bacterial growth.
